This is considered to be the holiest day of the year for the Jewish people and day of fasting. So it s necessary to know that How to make Yom Kippur easy and Healthy.

The purpose of  this Yom Kippur 2017 is to bring about spirituality and connection  between people and between individuals and God. Of course, there are also  some rituals that are to be followed. You can’t shower, engage in any type of sexual relations, or wear leather shoes, and some people also wear white only as a symbol of purity but the most important is fasting on this day and in this article we will tell you more about How to make Yom Kippur easy and Healthy so that you can have a easy fast.

Before telling you more about fasting and how to keep it easy we must tell you that  there are exceptions for fasting on this day so if a danger to a life is involved, or if a child is nine or less or a woman who has just given birth can skip this fast. But if you fast on this day , it’s important to keep reminding  the following ways that will make this fasting time easier on you and your body without degrading your health.

1. Hydration-Most people think the challenge of fasting is feeling “hungry.” In truth, avoiding thirst is much more important. So Keep your body Hydrated as much as possible.

2. It’s important that the a month  prior to Yom Kippur 2015 you should try and change your bad habits especially like drinking coffee. So at least two to three days before Yom Kippur 2015 fast , you should not  drink coffee a whole day and survive.

3. You should start changing up your meal schedule. If you have a very strict eating schedule you could change it to make it more flexible. You will find that changing schedule eases your feelings of hunger and food at meal times.

These tips help you to prepare you before The fast .Now we will see what you can do during the fat or just before fast starts.

1.Avoid alcohol,caffeine,salty and sweet food all that which can contribute to dehydration. Drinks lots of water, not soda, not other drinks only water.

2.Don’t over eat. Over eating of food might make you uncomfortable more and since your body will will be needing more fluids to digest that food which can lead to dehydration as these fluids  were supposed to be storing to give you energy. Eat normal sized meals leading up to the fast  and avoid eating of meat and reduce the amount of proteins and fats in the meal as the day goes on.

3.Do Don't eat dessert on your last meal before you start the fast. Save it for after the fast So that the sugar rush won’t make you more hungry during the fast.

4.Once your fast starts, remember to go to the synagogue, don’t talk about food or hunger.it will ease the hunger.
